Obituary

Evan Harvey Simpson was born to Jack & Myrtle Simpson (nee Hanson) of Theodore, SK on June 26, 1949 in Theodore, SK. He took his schooling in Theodore and was active in 4-H and sports. After completion of grade 12 Evan went on to get his diploma in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.

Throughout the years Evan had many different off farm jobs including working for Sask wheat pool in Buchanan, SK, Imperial oil in Canora, SK, and most recently Parish & Heinbecker in Yorkton, SK.

In February 1999 Evan married Janet Todd and gained 3 more sons (Donald, Alisdair and Dougal). They continued to make their home on the farm at Theodore until 2011 when they moved to Yorkton. Evan remained an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Myrtle Simpson he leaves to cherish and celebrate his life wife Janet and sons Michael (Alysson) and Thomas (Jamie) Simpson, Donald, Alisdair (Megan Schwartz) and Dougal (Rebecca Wilkenson)Todd; Grandchildren Owen, Emily, Alexander, Bailey, Payton, Cooper, Cohen, Arlo and Harlow and many other relatives and friends.

We had been speechless from the time we heard the news. Sorry we have not reached out earlier, wanted to give you your space. Evan was one of the sweetest men we knew at the church, very welcoming and kind. His personality was one of the reasons we enjoy our church and school. It has been our privilege to have known him. Our prayers and love go to you ,Janet, and Alexander and family.
